Is It December 21st Yet?
Nov 11:  December 21 is the Winter Solstice.
It is not a hoilday to anyone but me, it seems.

From that day on, we get more daylight!
It is only a minute or two a day but eventually it adds up.

This is my little trick for getting through the days of cold, when the sun seems to set at 3:30pm.  It's silly but, knowing that everyday has more light, appears to help.

I am longing for that now, just a week past "falling back" on clocks for Daylight Savings Time.

I was thinking that this little trick of mine to get through winter, might work for getting through the next two years of the Obama Administration.

Everyday from November 2, 2010, we have a little more light and less darkness until November 6, 2012.That is the day when we unelect Bam. I won't tell you how many days that is, just know that every sunrise brings us closer to it.

I know that Sunday, January 20, 2013 is the day we will see the Obama clan leave the White House, but, a girl can only be a sunny optimist for so long.
November 6, 2012 will feel like spring!
